Submission Guidelines

Abstracts will be selected by the Programme Organising
Committee for oral and poster presentations.
Publication
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract
Book, given to all delegates attending the Congress
upon registration in Göteborg.
Submission Instructions
• Abstracts should be submitted electronically
no later than 3 April 2006.
• Abstracts cannot be submitted by fax, hard
copy or e-mail.
• Acknowledgement of receipt of the submission
will be sent to the stated e-mail address. If you
do not receive the confirmatory e-mail within 24 hours,
please contact us at; hydrocephalus2006@gbg.congrex.se
• Notification on acceptance of the abstracts
will be e-mailed in June 2006.
• The presenting author will receive all correspondence
concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing
the other authors of the status of the abstract.
• Abstracts must be written in English.
• Maximum approximately 300 words / 2 000 characters
(including spaces and excluding title and contact
information on authors).
• Present, and label, the abstract text in the
following order: background (make it brief), objective
and hypotheses, methods, results and conclusions.
Provide details in the conclusion. Statements such
as "the results will be discussed" or “the
data will be presented” will not be sufficient.
• It is the author’s responsibility to
submit a correct abstract; any errors in spelling,
grammar, or scientific fact will be reproduced as
typed by the author, if accepted. Poor English may
be a cause for rejection.
• Presenters of abstracts must pay the registration
fee for attendance at the Scientific Sessions.
• The presenting author has access to an On-line
Personal Page. The author can read and print the abstract
and make changes until submission deadline. A unique
user id and password for access will be included in
the e-mail sent upon submission.
